Hey, maybe this will help. I don't know if a yeast-especific assay is around (probably not?!) but you most certainly can adapt what the authors describe here-in. Surely, anion exchage chromatography is the way to go here, for example, Supleco's TSKgel anion exchange column works quite well with biomolecules (e.g. DNA topoisomers). Hope this helps.
