BOD load due to blood worm as fish feed?

If blood worm is used as fish food, how can we estimate BOD load due to that? any suggested equation?

I think the only way to calculate the difference due to the presence of blood worm in aquatic environment is to take BOD samples before and after introducing the live feed. BOD is more when parts of the worm is discarded in the pond itself due to biological degradation. The best way is to remove the food waste from the pond as early as possible to avoid drop in Oxygen level.
