I am going to start a BAC clone multiplication. There is about 58600 clones kept at -80 degree C. in 384 well plate. I am searching for some 7 genes of my interest whereby I group clones and decompose groups into subgroups subsequently until I isolate all the target clone with my insert of interest. I have read some literatures talking about the use of clone duplicator during clone multiplication on selective media. Any one with an experience of this kind in general and with the clone duplicator in particular (how to take double sample each time multiplying a clone using this apparatus) is well come and indeed appreciated to share with me.
