since the company Biochrom is not available anymore, we are looking for alternatives for standardized fetal bovine serum (FBS) with low endotoxins. We were usually working with the following product:

Of course, we are using this one:

We keep it frozen until usage. Then we let it thaw at RT overnight and then heat-inactivate it at 56 °C for 45 minutes in a water bath. Then it is ready to use.

Thanks Marijana :) we actually found out that Merck is still selling the one from Biochrom under their name. So we might stay with it.
