Actually i am willing to first widen a horseshoe shape geometry and then displace it to another position and then remove the load to get elastic recovery.

B.C- Fixing some nodes in x and z direction.

L.S 1- APPLY force on two faces of my geometry in opposite direction along X axis.

delete that force loading

L.S 2- Apply displacement loading on one node to move the geometry in y direction

L.s 3- APPLY 0 N force on those nodes on which i apply force in L.S1 to make elastic recovery.

But problem is that First 2 loadstep merges to one and only displacement loading is carried out by ansys.

How to fix it. Please respond asap
