How to successfully translate one body in between load steps to make assembly with other body in ansys ?

i want to make assembly of cylinder and open ring (as shown in attachment) to find out the pressure exerted at the cylinder surface when ring mounted over it.

Diameter of ring is less than cylinder and frictional contact is required at contact.

Initially expanding the ring in LS1 by applying force, when the ring expanded translate the cylinder and Remove the load in LS2 to make the ring mount over cylinder by elastic recovery.

Suggest any other procedure if possible.
