Hi all, I am planning to treat few cancer cell lines with recombinant IFN-g in-vitro. I am curious to know from researchers with prior experience if one needs to be careful of the IFN-g levels already present in the FBS that is used for culture media. If yes, is serum-starving the cells before treatment the most logical option or if there are other ways (like charcoal-treated serum)?
