I got PVA nanofiber with dimeter in range 60-80 nm ..
But i want to increase diameter to be in range 95-110 nm.
First of all, an increase of solution concentration or molecular weight of polymer dissolved will result in fibers diameter increase. Also, a decrease of the voltage applied will lead to the same result.
Best regards.
Dear Somaya A.Amer
1. Increase Solution Concentration.
2. Increase the Flowrate.
3. Try finding the minimum Voltage required to get bead free fibre.
good luck.
HI,
I suggest that you make changes slowly, if you follow all the recomendations probably fibers will increase their diameter more than you want.
Before increase solution concentration, try with minimum voltage, short collector-needle distance and a little more flow.
