How to quantify fibrin formation for absorbent hemostatic biomaterial ?

I have hemostatic nanofibers of hydrophilic nature. While fibrin formation from fibrinogen can be qualitatively visualized using SEM. What assays can be performed on nanofibers to quantify the amount of fibrin formed when blood came in contact with my nanofibers.
