Recently, I am preparing novel electrospun nanofibers for forward osmosis membrane preparation, I am facing following problems:

1. While testing water flux, there is little leakage, although the conductance is steadily increasing.

2. Nanofiber support is hydrophobic in nature, with a contact angle of almost 130 degrees. After IP with MPD and TMC, its angle decreases to 82 degrees.

3. Nanofibers have an average fiber diameter of 429 nm.

4. If there is no back support of PET, it is very difficult to handle nanofibers for IP process.

5. What could be the better methods to make IP without defect free PA layer preparation?

If anyone could please help me resolve the problem,?
