In the past when you wanted to do research you had to rely on books (hard copies) and on the library or libraries. You had to spend your time there, digging in books. While libraries and books are still important, nowadays there are digital (Internet) sources available which you can consult independent of time and location. And there are platforms to publish your work such as Research Gate and Mendeley. And there are preprint services as arxiv.org. and scientific search engines such as Google Scholar and Microsoft Academic. There are digital tools for cooperation such as Slack. But on the Internet there will be more.

Can anyone help to find which digital sources are available, which digital tools to cooperate and platforms to publish your work?
