The International Association of Scientific Technical and Medical Publishers (STM) sees six key areas to envision in the coming years: - Artificial Intelligence - digital identity - social responsibility - Open Research - Collaboration - Research and Integrity [1, 2] Then, I think, the „publish or perish“ culture should change (other values than the impact factor). The League of European Research Universities (LERU) published a position paper concerning next generation metrics [3]. I hope, this provides some inspiration.
