There is some media like chrome agaros but it's better to do traditional colony count.

Did you culture in broth media?

Any way you can use Mannitol salt agar for staphylococcus, XLD for salmonella and EMB for E.coli.

Thanks Alireza. The idea is to do a CFU count and thats why need to distinguish between colonies in co-culture. there are tons of option when it comes to chosing selective media, which I have gone through, but the purpose was to see if anyone has performed similar experiment and what worked for them.

EMB or MacConkey for Gram negative bacteria and MSA or Baird Parker for staph aureus. Be aware - selective media can be

suspect for quantitative estimates.
