As titled, the diode in my half-wave rectifier did not rectify the AC signal. Vout is still AC signal. i am using diode SMS 7630.
Because doide is unidirectional switch with allow conduction only if possible terminal(anode) have higher voltage the negative turminal(cathode).
based on the datasheet, the diode works until 6 GHz, it is an SMS 7630.
It is a detector diode, so if the datasheet mentions operation up to 6 GHz, it will operate as a detector diode up to that frequency. This means, it will convert the input RF signal to a voltage analog to the signal's power, as long as the right detection circuit is in place. If you want to rectify the signal, then that's not the right component.

So, it is not possible to use it as rectifier diode at 2.45 GHz ?
I already tested as rectifer by adding a a load of 900 Ohm and 20 pF capacitor, i get 0.8 V DC and 50% of efficiency.
