A cell line remains a cell line and appart specific mutations you could search for a specific cell line, you can use many different cell lines.
The best strategy is to go to the public site of the US NCI (I am attaching here the link) and to look at the profile of the 60 cancer cell lines to a given compound, here taxol for example.

You will see for this chart that MDA-MB-231 presents a "quite standard" profile of "anti-tubulin sensitivity", while certain other cell lines are much more sensitive versus much more resistant.
