Hello, we are doing essays inducing promoters with IFN alpha A/D and alpha-2a.

Sometimes we get results saying that a certain promoter is induced from 1600U/ml and upwards in mammals for example.

But I don't know if this is a purely artificial result or if this concentration can be achieved under certain circumstances in vivo.

Whenever I try to search this information, I am flooded with treatment essays with IFN as a drug; but I don't find more info about physiological IFN alpha concentration in animals.

Thus I request for a reference value of IFN alpha U per volume in normal and in extreme pathological conditions (EG invasive tumors).

Thank you in advance.
