You can try the following Mdivi-1 Dissolution Protocol: Add 2 mg of Mdivi-1 to 80 μL of DMSO, then add 320 μL of PEG300, 40 μL of Tween-80, and 360 μL of saline.
The answer to this question comes from MedChemExpress Technical Support.
A stock solution can be made by dissolving the mdivi 1 in the solvent of choice, which should be purged with an inert gas. Mdivi 1 is soluble in organic solvents such as DMSO and dimethyl formamide. The solubility of mdivi 1 in these solvents is approximately 20 mg/ml. Mdivi 1 is sparingly soluble in aqueous buffers. For maximum solubility in aqueous buffers, mdivi 1 should first be dissolved in DMSO and then diluted with the aqueous buffer of choice. Mdivi 1 has a solubility of approximately 0.1 mg/ml in a 1:6 solution of DMSO:PBS (pH 7.2) using this method. Do not recommend storing the aqueous solution for more than one day.
