PET is clear, but PC is not clear, which means that with PET membrane, you can see cells under microscope, but with PC membrane you cannot see cells under microscope.

Yuebang Yin PET for cell culture can be both clear or translucent. The optical properties are a result of the direction of the pores and the number of pores. Generally speaking the higher the pore density the less clear/transparent the membrane.
