I'm looking for a decent system to transfer cancer cells (specifically HS936 cell line melanoma) from one dish to another using a micromanipulator setup.
In the past I have used this line:

However, the problem with using those I have found is that you either get no cell movement whatsoever or the cell will shoot through the tube from too much pressure. Any ideas on a very smooth transition version of this I could purchase?
The cell tram vario with oil works nicely and is easy to handle. I used it for nuclear transfer. Also the inner diameter of your pipet is important regarding pressure...
You could also try to simply use a mouth pipet, maybe the cheapest and most flexible possibility?
