For months I tried to detect the bacteria DNA in Fish tissues which were artificially infected. Recently I saw sharp bands repetitively present in some of the infected fish tissues, but these bands didn't have the same length as the positive control. So I sent the PCR products of the tissues and positive control to be sequenced. BLAST alignment showed that they are all related to my bacteria of interest. I'm eager to know more about what's happened to bacterial DNA in fish tissue but honestly am not sure how to decipher the sequences now.
So any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
