follow the book on Harborne phytochemical extraction met\hods.
simple method is defatt the herbal dried material with benzene.l now extract the air dried material with ethyl acetate. the ethyl acetate extract will have terpenoids. test for terpenoids perform liebermann buchhard test to confirm the persence of terpenoids.
