I am researching the traceability of palm oil and need a parameter that can differentiate between provinces around the world. I want to group the provinces by their vegetation zone and see if it's a good classification. Is there any how that I can that? If there's any, what is the name of the zone separation and is it available to provincial level? Thanks.

- Il me semble qu'il existe une végétation ou encore des végétaux qui se liés aux paramètres climatiques et également géographiques.
- La végétation est la plupart du temps indicatrice d'un milieu (forestier, matorral, steppique, etc....). Les espèces halophytes indiquent que le substrat sol est salé, les espèces herbacées vivaces caractérisent un milieu steppique (alfa, l'armoise, l'aristide, etc...).
- Les espèces épineuses (atractylis, scolymus, galactite, etc...) caractérisent un milieu xérique (sec) où les précipitations atmosphériques sont souvent rares.
La liste est encore longue, j'aurais l'occasion de revenir sur cette thématique intéressante.
