What is the best method to study dissolution behavior of ferric complexes in basic medium? Is there any guidance on USP or other references?

Hello,

I need to study dissolution behavior of ferric pyrophosphate in basic mediums with pHs higher than 7.5, but I haven’t been successful in finding an official/validated method for studying dissolution in basic mediums. Would you please let me know your opinions?

P.S.: As far as I know this type of Iron complex is slightly soluble in pHs higher than 8, but still its solubility increases remarkably in the presence of Sodium pyrophosphates.
