We know that one of the important members of a 3D Geomechanical Model is in-situ stresses' directions and magnitudes. we can use the seismic data to estimate these parameters in special record mode (Wide Azimuth and Wide-Angle seismic data), but these are not available in all cases, and we have just an ordinary seismic data set which is not processed as anisotropy studies data.
