17 February 2014 3 3K Report

I am looking for indication regarding the number of cells used for siRNA transfection. I have read papers that just "miss" this little detail. Some companies' technology notes state that you can use "150000 cells for transfection with 250 pmols of siRNA" for various types of cells. Has anyone experience in pancreatic beta cells and siRNA and willing to share the approx. number of cells he/she used in his/her siRNA experiments? Thank you in advance for any help!
