Being teacher is not an easy task especially in poor countries due to lack of resources and appropriate skill related training. Any way, students respect them for their hard work and dedication towards their duty.

It is important that teachers understand that when they get a teaching position they are agreeing to follow the code of ethics. My great and favourite Professors were humane, honest, decent, enthusiastic human beings, having encyclopaedic knowledge. They are role models for me.

It does not even have to be a disciplined machine but it must be clear in the order of its research and knowledge priorities in an environment of cordiality and transparency

Let me elaborate the opinion given in my last Answer, and add something.

Do not believe in something because a scripture says it is so. Do not believe in something believing a god has inspired it. Do not believe in something a teacher tells you to.
