But given their limited medical infrastructure, they could soon account for a larger percent of coronavirus infections.

The causes are biological and social. For instance, in Italy the average age is relatively high, much higher than in many other EU countries, and older people often live within large families. Moreover, Italians have many social interactions. But their healthcare system has been too much restructured with negative consequences.

The root causes are positive cases travelled in the flight and all the travellers were become positive after reaching home because the controlled environment of the aerodrome and flight are supportive agent made the people to be highly infected. Yes, we need to share knowledge and cooperate. How can a young doctor of 53 die in US. What equipment is needed? What about Amazon and Microsoft doing something and giving equipment for benefit of society. Why have huge amounts of money if people are dying.

I really worry that developed countries struggle, and what of refugee camps in Lebanon.. elsewhere. They cannot practice social distancing.

There is an indication that a genetic defect in some patients is responsible for some of the most severe effects of a Covid-19 infection. You are right.Two more things are important too.One is the response of WHO and second the hiding of data by China related to the corona cases.Due to these two the world couldn't response in the way it should be.

First of all, I have to thank you, Prof, for having replied to my question and followed my research publication in my RG profile.

I fully agreed that COVID 19 is started first in Wuhan, China, and it has slowly transmitted to the entire world. There are many causes of which air travelers spread quickly because of the careless administration in the airport and allowed them to travel to many places.

Air travel is more from China to Europe, and the US is more frequent than other countries, so the COVID 19 intense was high in Europe and the US, mostly due to many merchandise reasons that are unavoidable between these countries.

Unless there is a proper and effective vaccine provided to control people, there is no guarantee of getting safe and secure from this pandemic virus infection.

The 2nd new variant has mutated one has more vigorous than the 1st one. Apart from other climatic favorable conditions, many unavoidable factors hinder the transmission quickly in all parts of the world.

The invisible virus is in the air and deposited on objects, and the people have touched it in the usual way of life that is the additional effect of the reason it has been transmitted quickly. Thank you, Professor.

Still lots has to be done. This virus pandemic has more questions than answers. Like its transmission from animal to animal, animal to human, human to human. Later it was found that even it can be air borne. More will be known with time.
