I recently have some problems for my protein transfer as seen in the attached photo. It doesnt look like air bubble trapped but instead seems the membrane or gel was damaged. Can anyone please have any suggestions? Thanks
There could be different causes of such results:
1. The membrane could be insufficiently wetted or dried out before transfer.
2. If you perform transfer in a tank, make sure that the system is cool. Overheating may produce air bubbles trapped inside the sandwich.
3. This result could actually be a result of improper sandwich assembly. Make sure you removed all the air bubbles during the process.
Good luck!
During low-temperature testing, new diffraction peaks that appear could be indicative of several phenomena. In one of our tests, we observed notable new peaks around 40° and 45° in a specific...
