During crash worthiness analysis the ultimate goal is to find the peak force and energy absorption of a structure. If we consider a simple case of conventional circular tube let the extrusion length be 500mm. Upto what extent shud we use trace the force vs displacement ? The f vs d graph will show more fluctuation near the end of extrusion length when the tube will become dense after several folds. So for the graphs which peak force is considered the first one at the beginning or the one which appears in the last ?...And i suppose the smaller will be the mesh size the larger willbe the peak force at the end. Kindly help me out in this concept. Thanks in advance 😊😊
