Excavation in 2007 in Northern Scotland along the East Coast revealed a domestic site containing the unbroken half (other half is missing) of a perforated circular disc measuring L 37mm x W 26mm x TH 6MM and made of siltstone (dark brown/red with light grey surface mottling) that is presumed to be a pendant due to single face wear. I am trying to identify a comparable object: with the serrations and of another stone, or without the serrations and made of the same stone. Geography for find spots need not be limited to Britain or the British Isles. Sketch attached (Sketch source: Dunbar et al 2007 Illus 16).
