I am looking to find a series of commercially available antibodies for western blot analysis on human tissue covering the expanse of the tau protein (i.e. antibodies detecting the 6 isoforms- both native and phosphorylated forms).

I am doing extensive literature searches and the www.alzforum.org website has been helpful, but I wanted to post this to see what people are currently using in the lab and what they believe is the biggest bang for the buck.

I've heard from many that there are certain tau antibodies to stay away from when doing Western blots on human tissues (most literature out there is on rodents). Any aid would be greatly appreciated. So far in my repertoire I have AT8, T231, HT7, and PHF-1. Thank you in advance.
