In the publication with the DOI 10.1016/j.celrep.2019.11.025, I found the following statement: "For each ribosomal protein, we assigned an interface-index score based on the fraction of residues that interface with rRNA by using the PyMOL function InterfaceResidues (https://pymolwiki.org/index.php/Main_Page). Ribosomal proteins with a high interface-index score (a high fraction of rRNA interface residues) tend to be located deep in the ribosome core or have long tails that penetrate into the core."

Has anyone conducted a similar analysis for ribosomal proteins in yeast? Is it possible to find an interface-index already calculated for ribosomal proteins in yeast? Additionally, what other ways can I use to demonstrate the interaction between ribosomal proteins and rRNA in the ribosome?
