Hi everyone,
I am working on studying proteins labeled with fluorine tags via 19F NMR. I had a question about the free induction decay data that I have been getting. I am attaching a picture of fid and for this experiment acquisition time was kept as 0.05 s and a relaxation delay of 0.6 s was used.
However, I believe the fid is different from the fid of small molecules which is a good sinusoidal damped signal. Has anyone seen similar fid data for proteins? I am also trying to find out an optimal acquisition time for my protein. The mass of the protein is around
50 KDa. But in the fid that I have, it's difficult to study where the signal has been totally decayed.
Thanks,
