I have been trying to purify Amyloid Beta peptide using ion exchange chromatography. In the paper I am referring to, they have used DEAE Cellulose in their protocol. I have been using Q-Sepharose (a strong anion exchanger) but have not gotten the result. Thus I am thinking of switching to a weak anion exchanger, as they have mentioned in their protocol, but I have DEAE Sepharose in my lab, so can I use DEAE Sepharose in place of DEAE Cellulose? And what could be the reason I haven't gotten the result by using Q-Sepharose?
