I have built up geometry in Ansys apdl and imported .iges file to Ansys workbench.
When I set up system coupling interface, the geometry is shared between transient structural and fluent module. But I am not able to set enclosure for the geometry.
I need to set up enclosure and perform Boolean subtraction, right?
If I establish enclosure from DM(design moduler—edit geometry), it gives error in the ‘Model’ part of transient structural.
Also, I need to attach manual contact regions and revolute support to my model in the transient structural module.
When shall I establish enclosure to the model and what should be the correct sequence of doing above said adjustments in the geometry?
Please help me in this.
i think you know more about ansys software. actually i am trying to analyse my creo diagram of nozzle in the ansys software. i am able to do it in the 2d but i dont know how to do it in the 3d. i want to get the velocity profile in the 3d diagram. it will be very helpful to my project if you could help me in this. i am attaching y nozzle design.
what about meshing and set up which should be done after importing .stp??
I was working on a similar problem, and I had to create my geometry using the Design Modeler available in Workbench. May I know in which model ur working on??
