My system consists of 3D airfoil in fluid domain.
In CFD post, I am trying to get pressure data on the specific point for all time steps.
I have defined a point and trying to set up transient XY chart.
Bu I am not able to set up the same.
Can somebody help me in this?
Is there any other way?

Hi Prachi,
You have followed the most effective method I believe. Another process can be you set this same point as the user defined monitored point in CFX - Pre, start the transient and latter after the solution, Right click on the solver window and export the data to excel.
The problem that you may be facing currently from you transient simulation;
If you are getting only one point value in the graph despite plotting the XY Transient with X as pressure and Y as time then this is because you copied only one .res file from your server computer to your working computer. You should copy whole the set of the result including time step result to be able to view all your data.
i think you have to export step or IGES file of cad model with selection of datum curves and points to cfd analysis than you will be able to select point in cfd post.

If you have a solution in transient mode than there is also an option to read in the variable value with use of session.
You need to start new session, and begin recording, than you need to create a desired variable in particulair point or equatation. Finally it is possible to apply the "for i to n" loop and store the variable value for each timestep in the text file.
Please let me know if you need an example of the file with the loop, I will send it to you.
It might be difficult to get fluid data at specific point. If it is OK for you, try to take small area section. Then, you can easily monitor and save pressure (say mass flow averaged pressure) value over this area at each time step and export the same. This should be possible I think.
