HI,
I am modelling 2D airfoil under pitch and plunge motion in ansys workbench.
I need to model one torsional spring and one vertical linear spring on the 2D airfoil.
I am modelling torsional spring by incorporating revolute joint on the required point on the surface.
But I am not able to model vertical linear spring.
If I use spring joint, it is only giving me " longitudinal" menas horizontal spring, as shown in attached file.
I need the vertical spring as shown in another attached picture.
The two springs need not be at the same point but the configuration should be as shown in the theoretical diagram.
I tried changing the direction of the longitudinal spring but could not succeed
Can somebody please help me in modelling the vertical spring?

Use 2 linear springs. One forward of the elastic axis and one aft of the elastic axis
