I'm looking for a DNA extraction kit that is beed based. So, far I found only one from Omega. Do I have any other options? Please advice.
Built on Solid Phase Reversible Immobilization (SPRI) paramagnetic bead-based technology, the Agencourt DNAdvance kit
Thank you, but it appears this kit is for tissues and not feces or soil.
Hi Kait!
My lab used a kit from ABI's MagMax series to extract DNA and RNA from cloacal swabs. The website says that feces and soil is one of the many sample types that their kits can take.
https://www.thermofisher.com/us/en/home/life-science/dna-rna-purification-analysis/rna-extraction/rna-types/total-rna-extraction/magmax-technology.html
Good luck!
Thank you Danielle, we'll give it a try.
