Hello everyone . I am doing a non linear FEA on Masonry. I have to analyse the plasticity behaviour of the model using Ansys APDL. I have to analyse the effects under the effect of wind load and surcharge acting on the wall. I need help withe the analysis as my model is failing. I am attaching the related figures and files here.
The model works perfectly for linearly elastic behaviour . I am attaching the desired behaviour also.
try with plain strain plane 182 (yours is on plane stress) and put all outputs to on ''OUTPR,ALL,ALL,''

Thanks for the materials, but it is not clear what are the boundary conditions and the manner of loading. What is the material (s) and method of analysis. if you can describe them in detail.

well the use of plane 182 in plane stress si not compatible with you plasticity low (Drucker–Prager low), try to use this commands to swicth to plane strain, reduced integration and mixed desplacement and pressure for th ET plane 182
