This is strange! Western Blots are definitely among my least favorite techniques, and I avoid them as much as possible, because of how difficult they can be to optimize. Here are some things that crossed my mind regarding your issue:

How specific are the antibodies supposed to be? How were they generated/purified?

How are you blocking your membrane after the transfer?

Have you tried different dilutions of primary/secondary antibodies?

If you run a completely unrelated sample (like from a very different organism) are you still getting bands?

Which kit/machine are you using to detect the bands?

I once had a purified protein that always showed up as multiple defined bands. It turned out that the protein self-cleaved at certain regions under denaturing conditions. How stable is the protein you are looking for?

This may be due to the selectivity of your antibody or a degradation in your samples.

Try another antibody, if you get the same result, this would mean you have a degradation
