For me it seems as a sponge-like surface if a much larger particle. You could have a SEM picture with a lower zoom-in, in order to have more overview and then look for details. From the picture you shared one cannot estimate the size of the particle in question.

I agree with Aleksander, you may (or may not) have micro particles, but you do not have nanoparticles.
Your sample seems polymeric in nature. I am wondering if your sample is polymer composite type! It looks like spongy type polymeric in nature.
