I know two kinds of buffer.First one is recording buffer containing mM: 110 NaCl,5.4 KCl,1.8 CaCl2, 0.8 MgCl2, 10 D-glucose and 10 HEPES pH:7.4. The second is 1xTris buffer saline with mM 1.5 tris-HCl,0.4 tris-base and 15mM NaCl pH:7.6. I remove complete DMEM from plate and place one of these buffer.

There are commercial CO2 independent media designed exactly for such applications, like this one: https://www.lifetechnologies.com/order/catalog/product/18045054 . However, if your cells require something very specific, you should probably add it to the medium. Also, if you are working with some standard, resilient cell line (e.g. HEK-293, HeLa...) you should be able to keep the cells alive in a standard PBS or Ringer buffer for a few hours without much trouble. I'd recommend Leibovitz's L-15 Medium. It's designed for supporting cell growth in environments without CO2 equilibration. Cat. No. 11415-064 from life technologies. Its relatively inexpensive.
You may use you classical culture medium and buffer it with 25mM HEPES. It should work like in a CO2 incubator.
HEPES is said to be toxic if photoactivated through an UV light. You may use medium without supplemntation during your imaging. Then go back to HEPES medium if you need your cells to stay alive.
Or you can try commercial medium as proposed by others.
Incubating cells in 1X PBS may stay alive an overnight at room temperature.
