Hi all,

I am doing an SDS-PAGE (Laemmli) gel electrophoresis but don't have any bromophenol blue to make up my SDS sample buffer. Is it possible to leave this out if you are confident of how long to run the gel for? Or is there an alternative dye that can be included?

I have pre-made LDS sample buffer available that does have a dye , but I'm not sure how well this will work on an SDS PAGE gel with the SDS running buffer that I use.
