Hi,

From your sample, you will isolate nucleic acids. This will be carried out in two phases. First, you'll use bead pounding to directly extract nucleic acids from the material. The nucleic acids will be purified using phenol/chloroform washing and centrifugation in isopropanol to precipitate them. Please check the protocol attached, I guess it can help you to carry out your assay
