I wanna use a method to quantify mitophagy. However, later on I do not found the detail of mtDNA immunostaining (kits or regents). It will be very lucky If you can provide some details about mtDNA immunostaining.

There is a commercially available kit from Dojindo that has two dyes, one that stains the mitochondria and one that stains the lysosome, which are both weakly fluorescent. When the mitochondria and lysosome combine during mitophagy, the dyes combine to produce a very bright fluorescent signal which gives you a read-out of the amount of mitophagy.
