How to get a chromatin fraction without plasma membrane contamination?

Hi, I am interested in testing the interaction of a plasma membrane receptor and the chromatin. I have tried several available protocols, but all of them showing contamination of the chromatin fraction with PM marker “transferrin receptor”. Obviously all published protocols have excluded the cytoplasmic contamination using tubulin as cytoplasmic marker, but no one tested the fractions for PM markers, do you have any suggestion to improve the purity of the chromatin fractions? Thanks in advance
