Absolutely not!

Otherwise you will make suffering your cells (at least inducing autophagy and initiating perhaps certain cell death types) )and their biological behavior (thus their response(s) to any type of treatment(s)) while facing the cytotoxic agent will be actually modified.

In the clinical settings, oncologists cannot unfortunately starve the cancer cells before administering the drug to the patient.
