Rana, I don't think the plasma module (geared to low temp, low density microwave plasmas) nor the ray optics physics module for Comsol are even remotely capable of doing short-pulse physics, as this requires a kinetic approach instead of purely hydro to get the physics right, and Comsol will not do kinetic calculations to my knowledge. You want to use LSP or some other PIC/Hydro hybrid code. See the link to another discussion on this below...
