This figure depicts a simulation of an electrostatic energy harvesting system in COMSOL Multiphysics software. My question is regarding the relationship between the changes in electric charge on the moving plate and the applied frequency. In the simulation, the changes in electric charge appear to increase linearly with increasing frequency.
However, I would expect these changes to decrease after a certain point, specifically at the resonance frequency. Is this behavior expected, or is there something else at play here?

When current flows between two plates with a specified area and distance, there is a capacitance present. The reactance of this capacitance decreases as the frequency increases. As a result, the current will increase.

my case study is frequency domain, so i gave a sinusoidal displacement to my structure and so as my structure is mass-spring system, i wanna to get a power- frequency curve that maximum point is at resonance freq.
but this curve almost increase

As we all know that there are capacitance present with the plates, and when the frequency is increased, the capacitance decrease that why the charge between it is decreased.
hi aniket, but i gave sinusoidal displacement in frequency domain study and so my capacitor changes is sinusoidal.
