3. Cover beaker with Parafilm but do not stir. Allow BSA to dissolve in the water by slow hydration. (patience is required)
4. Stir the solution only after all of the BSA is dissolved (i.e., no dry powder is left on top of the water).
5. Transfer the solution to a graduated cylinder and adjust the volume with purified water. Cover with Parafilm and mix thoroughly by gentle inversion.
(protect from extended exposure to light, and store at 2-8°C, BSA powders and BSA solutions.)
This is entirely dependent on the solutions viscosity/concentration. I'd try 2-3k RCF and see how the solution responds. Even surfactant solutions full of bubbles behave eventually, good luck!
